Arizona’s Moment: Tools & Resources for Celebrating America250
As we approach the 250th anniversary of America’s founding in 2026, I’m excited to share that the official website for the Arizona America250 Commission is now live!
This moment isn’t just a national milestone, it’s a call to every Arizona community, organization, and individual to reflect, celebrate, and shape what comes next. From Douglas to Flagstaff, from Hopi stories to Hispanic heritage, from small business owners to student leaders, Arizona’s story is America’s story, and this is our time to tell it.
Appointed by Governor Katie Hobbs and serving under Chair Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, I’ve had the honor of helping lead Arizona’s statewide planning for this historic moment. I’m proud to champion initiatives rooted in the values I bring to public service: preserving what makes Arizona special, expanding civic engagement across generations, supporting small and rural communities, uplifting youth voices, and forging partnerships that move our state forward.

Why This Moment Matters
This moment isn’t just ceremonial, it’s personal. I believe Arizona’s future is strongest when it’s rooted in respect for our past. That’s why I’m proud to champion youth leadership, historic preservation, and inclusive civic engagement across our state.
This work reflects the kind of leadership I believe in, one that centers community, celebrates our shared history, and builds a more inclusive future for all.
To our sponsors and community partners: thank you for your commitment and collaboration. Your support ensures that America250AZ is truly a celebration for all Arizonans.
With appreciation,
