Ashley Harder serves as Director on the Downtown Phoenix Community Development Corporation (DPCDC) Board, furthering its mission and shaping its direction. The DPCDC is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit founded in 2001 to encourage housing development in Downtown Phoenix. Guided by a volunteer board of community leaders, it supports efforts that reflect the area’s evolving needs.

Since reconvening in 2021 DPCDC’s mission has been to promote equitable, inclusive growth by supporting housing and mixed-use projects. In partnership with the City of Phoenix Housing Department and the Social & Housing Advancement (SHA) Committee of Phoenix Community Alliance (PCA), DPCDC assists public and private developers with acquisition, redevelopment, and construction of affordable housing, while also engaging in community-based planning efforts.
